The Bible was written to tell people about Jesus Christ. As Jesus said:
John 5:46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me; for he wrote of me.
5:47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words? KJV NASB NIV MSG
It may seem obvious to you that Jesus is God. Many people deny this simple truth, and that's why this page is here. Many false teachers say that Jesus wasn't God, trying to trick people into not believing in Jesus.
1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. MSG KJV NIV NASB
If somebody wants to tell you something about God, ask them what they say about Jesus. If they don't say that Jesus is God who came to the earth as a man, don't believe anything they say. Don't listen to them.
