We all get angry with other people from time to time. We think things like "How could he do that?", or "Why would she say that about me?". Indeed, anger with other people can build up and become very harmful to ourselves. Think about it: If YOU are angry with somebody, then it's YOU who is affected. The other person may not even know you are angry with them.
One problem with judging other peoples' actions is that you don't know everything about them. You don't know what they are thinking, or how they are feeling, or what may have happened to them recently. For example, maybe your friend didn't say hello to you because their grandparent just died and they are preoccupied with that. If you are angry with them because they didn't say hello and you let the anger out on them, you could make a bad situation worse for them.
Jesus warned us against being too hard on others in Matthew 7:
Matthew 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
7:3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
7:4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
7:5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
Often if there is something about somebody else that is really annoying you, you have the same fault yourself. Examine yourself very carefully before you decide to be critical of somebody else.
Remember: if you don't forgive others who do wrong to you, then God will not forgive you for your sins. Your sins are you doing wrong against God. Pray to God to help you forgive others rather than being critical of them, and pray to God to forgive your sins.
