Matthew 7:12

Jesus Christ said:

Matthew 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. [KJV]

Jesus said "this is the law". This verse is so straightforward, that surely nobody could argue against it. This law has been rephrased as "Do unto others as you would like others to do to you". Note that this is a positive commandment, it doesn't tell you not to do something. It doesn't say "don't do things that you wouldn't like done to you", it says "Do things to other people that you would like done to you". So think of something you would like, and go and do it for somebody else.
